can we use table control for mark entry

Hi friends,
I am designing the student mark entry page. I want to enter the marks of the students based on the class and exam.I try to use gridview for mark entry.but that cells are not editable.I bound the datatable with rows for studentName and columns for subjectName.which server control is better for enter the mark.
