Hi,

I am trying to view a report in report manager and getting the below error.

"An error has occurred during report processing. (rsprocessingaborted). For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local machine, or enable remote servers"

Note: I have enabled the remote servers(as mentioned in error) also but no use.

what does the error actually mean and How to resolve it ? I have searched in google but no luck.

Please help.

Thank you

Regards,
DhivyaJ

All we could possibly tell you is that something bad happened. Without you giving us sufficient information, there is nothing more for us to say.

Enable remote errors through SQL Server Management Studio

1.
Start Management Studio and connect to a report server instance. For more information, see How to: Connect to a Report Server in Management Studio in SQL Server Books Online.

2.
Right-click the report server node, and select Properties.

3.
Click Advanced to open the properties page. For more information, see Server Properties (Advanced Page) - Reporting Servicesin SQL Server Books Online.

4.
In EnableRemoteErrors, select True.

5.
Click OK.

For others that find this:
Your DataSet name does not match the DataSet name in the rdl or rdlc file.

Your ReportDataSource has a name and a value make sure the ReportingDataSource Name value matches the name in your rdl or rdlc file.
