Hi friends,
I want to develop a robust windows chat client...
Which .NET language I should choose for this ??
Visual C# or Visual C++ ??
My platform is Visual studio 2012...
I know C# very well... Is it easy to switch VC++ ??
How about the learning curve ?

Why would you want to do it in C++? Is this a requirement?

It depends on... how much of other languages do you know? what is your understanding of languages in general? Just to give you an idea: C++ has little to do with C#. C# ancestry is rather Delphi and Java.
That said, the question is not really correct. We don't know your background.

While C# and C++ may be superficially similar, "under the hood" they are very different indeed. C++ is a lot more complex a language than C# and the learning curve is not trivial.

If you know C# very well, then you are probably better off sticking with it - switching to C++ will incur a significant time penalty.
