Progressbar and usercontrol

Guys do you have any idea how can i used usercontrol when progressbar is currently running.

to be mmore detailed when my button click it will show some image i want to load usercontrol until the image is not yet done showing.the user control will block the user from clicking the page until the image are complted to load any idea will be appreciated thanks

im using vb.net and visual studio 2010
please if your particular to these your help will be appreciated.

hi sir im a newbie in programming i would like to know if u have example that is made from vb.net asp.net.

i really need to work with progress bar because i was using update panel but i want to show my usercontrol instead the <div> that the progress bar will display because my modified usercontrol can block the user from clicking anything beyond the usercontrol until the load is done thanks for the reply

sir your answer is good but what i need is to show my usercontrol when partial callback is happening.base on the article you gave me what i need is synchronous execution when a button click the page must be disable or in my idea i will put user control that has huge UI so that it will blockk the parent form until the image is loaded.

do you have any idea?
