Issue with Metrologic device

I have Metrologic device but I'm having issue when reading data from it. It works find first time but when I try to import data again it gives me "Unable to configure IR device". What could be the issue here?

Hi There,
I was actually looking for a solution to a different problem when I came across this. I use this device and the error comes up when the power code is not connected to a power source and/or the computer. So check both usb and power cables, ensure they are both connected. Try unplugging and replugging as well.
