sql server error while installing

When installing the SQL Server 2008 I received ”SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error: “Unknown property.” How can i solve this?

'Not working' is not a valid issue description. If you would like some help, then you should give us some relevant error messages, at least. Moreover, this is not, strictly speaking, a development problem. You may have more chances to get a useful answer in the Sysadmin discussion board (provided you give a little bit more than 'not working').
