Solution 1

Replace

C#

lblMsg.Text = inpHide.Value;

with

C#

lblMsg.Text = hiddenControl .Value;

it is getting an error.
The name 'hiddenControl' does not exist in the current context

Replace
<asp:HiddenField ID="inpHide" runat="server" />
with
<input id="hiddenControl" type="hidden" runat="server" />

When i run this Its showing output "india"... But there i want to assign that value to session or any string variable..

you cannot get the value in page load. since it is happening in the client side. you should understand the page rendering concepts.

what you can do for this case is, you need to reload the page once the "India" value is obtained by using a hiddden button control...

Hi karthik your response is good thats why im asking a doubt to u.
i have to call bindNewArriavals() method with in postback and outside the post back also. but i am getting this error.

"Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register the postback or callback data for validation."
