How to keep modelpopup open on post backs from user control

I have a model popup and on that i am displying data from user control .. inside user controls i have dropdownds which reflects to filter the recordwhich is there inside user control .. but model poup gets disapper because of dropdows autopost back .. how to keep open

My dropDown is in user control

you can add updatepanel in use control so you can set Async Trigger to dropdown control
