Session expire page is displaying only within partial view

i have created custom view where i am redirecting when session expires but when page uses partial view then that custom view is displaying within partial view only rather whole page...why this happens...and is ther any solution...plz help..

Solution 1

I think you are return your Custom view as partial view when session expired.
You should return View instead partial view.

no..i m returning view only but in case of ActionResult which is returning partial view thrn this happens..
