Play an movie with extension .exe in Asp.Net(MVC)

Hi,

I have come across a situation where I need to play a movie file on web page.

Playing mp4 is easier and I have implemented.

Now I have a movie file with the extension .exe.
This exe file play on its own(I think so) when I open it.

I have no idea about how to play this file on webpages.

May be I can convert this .exe file into mp4 and then play..

But I want to know, Can I play the exe file without conversion?

Edit1:
I could not convert this video into any other format...:(

Solution 1

You cannot run an executable on the client. You can 'convert' it with a screen capture program. Not sure how else you'd do it, exe is not a valid video type, nor can anyone know if it does anything evil as well as playing a movie.
