string problem in java

when i want to save some file path in string like:(c:\abc\das\sdd\sdf.txt) so it remove all '\' automatically any one have solution for this....

Use double in stead of single slashes, like so:

c:\\abc\\das\\sdd\\sdf.txt

Otherwise the compiler interprets the character after a slash as an escape character.

the '\' charachter must be escaped (i.e. repeated, since it is the escape character) in strings, use:

Java

C:\\abc\\das\\sdd\\sdf.txt
