Drawing selectable shapes in macromedia Flash 8

Hello All,

i'm new in flash,and i need to upload an image to flash application and drawing selectable curvy areas with points and lines (saved shapes on the image) and then color every shape (object) with specific colors.

could you tell me the way to create this,if there's any sample it will be very helpful.
