How we can use MS SQL server in web into local vb.net application? Is there any choice or API?

Problem is here:

I can connect and work with MS Sql in local network.

Client needs to access data when he is at home also. I dont know ASP.net how can I use MS SQL in web server with vb.net

need its connection string.

You need to put the IP address of the SQL Server machine in your connection string.

Solution 1

You should provide remote connections to ms sql server.

Configure the remote access Server Configuration Option[^]
In some cases it is needed to Configure the Windows Firewall to Allow SQL Server Access[^]
Configure a Multi-Homed Computer for SQL Server Access[^]
