sigh: I am a beginner and so far I have not been able to change my code so that when the combobox is disabled the text inside is black. It is gray and hard to read. I am using Visual Studio 2005.

Thanks for helping.

You can't change it. The only way to do so would be to write your own version of the ComboBox and custom draw it.

hello,
Friend u cant do anything about it and why would u use a disabled combobox its of no use, either u can do this,u can enable that combobox on form load or on a button click and then use it but if ur requirement is disabled combobox then i would suggest u to create ur own combobox i.e. u have to create ur own user control and set its properties...

Do rate my answer once u find it useful

Thanks & Regards
