"View" actually means "download and then view", no matter what you do. Ultimately, you need the image data, not the URL itself (you only need it to be able to download the data).
Please see my comment to the question. If you don't know the URL, you can download the page with the image first, parse it to find
<img …>
(or link to the image, whatever it is), using some criteria, choose the image you need, download it (with the separate HTTP request) in memory, present on your form. Please see my past answers:
