You are in wrong section, try to search for article.

Actually you seems bit confused, entity is something that is related with how you interact with you data in development architecture(pattern) of application and The architecture you use can be MVC. For study as beginner visit below mentioned links:

The main difference is that one is a Design pattern for applications and one is a method of producing a Data Access Layer.

You should google them both individually to understand that that are not something that can be compared to one another.
