Dropdown List and Update panel conflict

In ASP .Net a dropdownList which AutoPostback property is true inside an Update panel control always refresh the whole page. If select a dropdown item then full page refreshes and page fluctuate. How can I prevent this.

you need to remove auto post back and set asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger for your drop down list
