Modify application based on country

I've a web application based on indian culture. How can I change everything to country based fields using a central point? Can u suggest any idea?

If you are referring to the text the user sees on a screen or report, then change the fields from being hard-coded to load the data from a data source based on regionalisation.

For example, a company has a requirement to display data in both English and French, depending on the language choice of the user.

The fields were changed from hard-coded values to values being loaded from a database; a database was used because this was a mainframe application.
