Show http handler output on a div element

I want to show the output of a http handler on a Div element of a page.
The http handler is actually rendering a pdf file.
Can I do this? If so, any suggestions?

Then you need to show the PDF file content inside the div. Have you tried anything for that?

I tried showing the output on an iframe and that worked. But I wanted to see if there is any other way.
