I am working on a software which is 32 bit version and i am modifying the code. But we have the same software for 64 bit version also.So my doubt is when i change the code in 32 bit can i run it on 64 bit computer or not??
Posted

Yes yo can, because the applications built for Win32 are running on Win64, but the applications built for Win64 will not run on Win32.

In "Visual Studio" user interface there is "Target" option, used for building the application, with 2 possible values: Win32 or Win64.
