mail sending failed using SMTP sever

Hi,
There is an exe that sends emails using SMTP server and that is working fine for a long time.But now there is problem with that.While running that the mail id that sending the email(mail id in the webconfig) is getting locked.this happens when the login failed for three times.But i can't find any thing like that.No body is using that email ID.And If I take the lock manually and run the application,it work fine for two days,then again get locked and sending mails failed.Can any one know the reason.Please help me...

First of all find why your email id is getting locked? You will get your answer in the reason of locked.
