How to Prepair a interactive chart Using MVC4?

I have a requirement to retrieve value from database and prepare a bar-chart using those values and clicking on each bar inside the chart i would able to show details related to the same .
Please help me in achieving this functionality as i am unable to find any solution by google. My application is developed using C# and MVC4.

Solution 2

Use Chart.js.

It is easy to use and a well documented library to create chart.
