Hello everyone,

I am developing a voip recorder now, it supposed to record the conversation over a voip phone such as Skype. I tried to set the recording device to Stereo mix, the recording works perfect however, the person I was talking to gets an echo. This is because the phone itself also uses the same recording device to send the voice to the listener.

Any ideas or even examples how may I solve this problem?

I prefer C# examples but all other languages are welcome.

Thanks a lot.

My daughter was getting an echo without any recording, so I'm not sure this is an issue with your code.

Thanks for you quick reply.

If your daughter was getting an echo and she got the call from a voip phone, that properly means the person she was talking to was recording the conversation.
