Solution 1

Try looking into javaScript event handlers such as onclick, onchange, onkeyup, etc. What happens next is up to you: AJAX, submit, validate.

Try www.w3Schools.org[^] for some tutorial help.
Maybe the entire javaScript tutorial would be in order.
