Hello everyone,

is there a way to know if there is any audio comming from any source, which can be "enabled" on my computer whether it is an mp3 , or a youtube video , or a movie...

Baically when we press the volume button on the taskbar in windows, aside of setting the volume level we can see a green sound bar level that keeps moving up and down depending on how high the volume is, so I would like to get this information, for ex if there is no audio then it is equal to zero, otherwise if i play a video on youtube then it will be a variable that is changing with the time.

Many thanks for your help

Refer - Get and set the wave sound volume[^]. You need to use waveOutGetVolume.

Also look at Get the current system volume in Windows 7[^].
