Datalogic magellan 8400 scanner using opos for .net

I have connected a Magellan 8400 scanner on which i would like to keep controlling on Good read beep through opos.net.
for successful scan(Barcode exist in database) i want to enable the beep
and when the barcode not found in the database I want to stop the beep

please Help me

Who sould give he beep? The computer, the scanner in a device? please be more specific.

I am working on a POS application using opos.net
In this, i need to connect the barcode scanner which i have already done with the microsoft.pointofservice as the reference.
my question is to control the beeps produced by the scanner after the barcode scans
I meed that beep when the barcode exist in my database
if not i have to stop that beep so that it alert the user,

please help me

If you scan the barcode you could check in your databasetable if it exist. If it does you can do a beep.
