Dear Friends,

Today i got an issue, that is SQL Server 2005 database Backupsfiles are changing automatically. I have checked in multiple sites but i couldn't get proper solution. please anybody tel me about this ....

Solution 1

Sounds like your backup system is working. If the file changes one (quite big) possibility is that a fresh backup is taken every day. Depending how the job is defined the name of the file may be generated each time the backup is run thus changing the name.

Check the jobs that are running under SQL Server (using Management Studio expand the Jobs section).

I have checked the same, almost ten jobs are created automatically i just removed all jobs, after that backup file came in correct in which way i have taken backup.
