Update panel not working with ClientIDMode=static

Hi,

I've a page with more than 10 dropdownlists where all dropdownlists have selectedIndexChanged Event & AutoPostback property="True".

To avoid page load on each DropDownList item selection, I'm using Updatepanel.

But, UpdatePanel does not work with DropDownLists since All dropdownlists clientIdMode="Static". If I change ClientIdMode to "Auto", it works fine. I want ClientIdMode to be "static" since I apply JQuery code on DropDownList controls,

How to do this?
