Crystal Report and Visual Studio 2010

I have installed VS2010 premium and installed CR beta for VS2010. I also installed CR2008 runtime SP2. After upgrading my web project the only thing that errored out is the crystalreportviewer. IE opened up and then crystalreportviewer section has an error message object reference is not set. Any ideas?

This generally means you aare trying to access properties or value of an object that holds NULL value.
Have you used a debugger and checked where exactly you are getting this error? You should be able to figure that out.

Solution 2

I had it on VS2008 and was working perfectly fine until VS2010 that does not come with CR anymore.
