How do I make bookmarks while reading a Big log file.

Hi,
I am able to read a log file. But how to make bookmarks for next reading in big log file. Can any one help me out on this. I am using C#.Net

Your question isn't clear. Do you read it yourself (with your eyes) or automated? What do you refer to as bookmarks? If you read it automated, what use would bookmarks have?

I need boork for next time reading. Suppose today my log file having 1000 nos of line. I have read it already. So i need to keep that line no as bookmarks. And next day my log file change and added 2000 no of lines. So i don't want to read it from start i need to read it from 1001 to 2000. So how to do that can u please share some tips to do that.

The answer is: it depends on what kind of log file is that.
By the way, why would you need those bookmarks?
