please help,
i want to install git on my pc to be able to work with my colleagues.
problem is i don't know which one should i buy, GitLab or GitHub? i only see gitHub for visual studio every time i google., but my friend said that it's gitLab.
if it's gitHub what version should i choose, where can i purchase it and how much does it cost?

I'm using visual studio 2010.

I've used both and I must say... Gitlab is nicer than GitHub, but GitHub seems to be a lot more popular. With that said, you don't really have to use either one. Git is free and open source. If you need to collaborate with people, you just need to host some repositories on a server that everyone has access to (simple as setting up an SSH server).

Using git through the command line (or terminal) is actually not too bad... once you learn all the darn commands.
