Why do we need Config File through web server IIS program?

The subject you chose is about as useless as it can get ? How about 'uses for config file in web server' ? That would MEAN something.

It is used for configuring settings for

1-Security

2- State management

3- Memory management

4- Supported configuration file section,configure asp.net worker process

5 - Profiles,membership and role management.

5- Application level and session configuration.

6- Define Handlers and modules used by the application.

6- Connections string used by the application.
