Hi, I'm in charge of developing a reboot restore program for windows system. I can't find useful documentation explaining how to save and revert all changes made to hard disk. Can anyone points me towards some direction? Thanks.

There is no "useful documentation" on the topic, because the whole topic is ridiculous. If you want to revert all changes on the disk, you need some storage where you store all the "changes" information. If this is the same disk volume, this "changes" information will be lost on "revert". If this is another volume, it makes the problem trivial, something like backup/restore, which would not require "useful information" you have been looking for.

Read my answer again, and this time thoroughly. What you are looking for is ridiculous. Really, all you need is to use you head.
