My 70% to 80% calculation includes the time that I make back in an 8 hour day through working overtime out of choice for no pay when sitting on a problem I try to solve or something likewise.

Generally I spend more time on thinking-thinking, making cfds, dfd's and finally a little bit of coding.
There are also times when I have spent whole day coding...
BUT right now I am being a slacker... spending 90% of time on deals and travel websites, fb, CP etc..

Not just chatting and social networking,
majority of my work goes in analysis documentation and finally when it comes to coding,
it's just translating english to c#
PS: Not to add the totally reduntant, repetitive status update meetings!
