The author always had an interest for the moldable attributes of software and the exciting field of electronics. It is then not surprising that he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering (USA) with emphasis on computer architecture (my favourite), control theory and electromagnetics.

Began his career back in 1989 at Philips Semiconductors/Europe where he spent many years doing what he loved most (aside from the obvious), marrying hardware and software into exciting projects.

Later moved on to non-embedded software and have since been involved in designing and developing web applications, database-driven backend and GUI applications in both Unix and Microsoft platforms.
That with the ocassional embedded development project.

Formerly a Linux fanatic with a load of free/open-source software on his name. Yet years ago he decided to embrace the Microsoft .NET platform. The latter to the amazement of his friends.

Currently designing systems in .NET and Java platforms. Flight simulator enthusiast (http://flightsim.coralys.com/).

GeneralNew Projects Pin

Some time ago I launched two new .NET 2.0 projects on the net. The first is a remake of my 12 year old pet project about tourism and is found at http://www.panamasights.com/

And the other one is a semi portal for virtual aviation fanatics including some real aviation news as well. It can be found at http://www.virtual-aviation.info/.

Hope you enjoy them. I still have to find the time to update my main site.

GeneralLive Site online Pin

Just a short note to say that my site (http://www.coralys.com/) is live again. Also one of my other web projects (http://www.FocusOnPanama.com/) has been live with a total new look.

I am also working on another ASP.NET website which I started years ago (in PHP+MySQL). It went dead but now a friend of mine is interested in becoming a partner in business with it so I am hard at work on developing it from scratch (ASP.NET + MS-SQL).

Unfortunately due to some twists of destiny I had to more or less abandon my websites to their fate. Some weeks ago I pulled the plug on the main one.

I had developed them over the years in PHP which was nice until of course... I got into .NET some years ago. Yet it has not been until last month that I had the time to put some serious work on it.

So the news is I expect my main website (CORALYS.COM) to come to life -in a basic form- very soon, this time completely rewritten in .NET.
