Thanks in advance,

I am printing Bar codes on Normal/Regular printer (laser/inkjet) not on bar code printer, the bar code reader some times reads the bar code and most of the times it does not.

My Question is does it makes any difference? , plus is this because of size (height and width) or what. any reference or help will be highly appreciated.

So you need help with which printer to use or settings in printer right?

I had used free fonts for generating bar code, they do generate but the reader some times reads them and some times does not.

What kind of barcode type you are printing there? which font? Sometimes (always I'd say) fonts are suitable for printing readable barcodes. And how are you printing it... through PrintDocument?

Hi εїзεїзεїз,
You can print bar codes using normal printer cause barcode is nothing but a special type of font unreadable by humans.Code reader just makes font conversion when it reads code.
You please check that the borcode you are reading is in proper format or not, this is because some bar code reader only accepts codes in specific format e.g. starting with 0 . Please check user manual of your bar code reader which fonts it supports and any special format of code for a particular font. Also check the page settings for your printer.
Hope this is useful for you.
