I have to do a project for a company . This is the situation :
- The Computers are in a network under WORKGROUP
- There is a local website running there
- If they click on a specified link , then they should enter their the ActiveDirectory username & password for getting their user's info ...

And I need to make a connection to ActiveDirectory password and get the user's info . But I really don't know how to do it .
I have ActiveDirectory username and password and I know the domain name ... that's all.
plz plz plz help me .

What's the connection between the workgroup and the AD domain? Workgroups are typically only used when there isn't an AD domain involved.

Yes,you are right .. there should be one of them , but that's the situation .. and I can't find a way to connect ActiveDirectory from a non-domain computer .. I have the username and password of a special user . When I log in to the windows of the WORKGROUP PC , I should get this info from ActiveDirectory server PC ..and they said 100 of other company have done this before !!! and I don't know how !?
