That's all very well, but you can't go and use somebody else's text without at least referring to them and giving them the credit. That's just underhanded.

That's normally considered to be plagiarism. In fact in most cases it's not even enough to merely put a reference to the source, you may actually have to get explicit permission before you can reproduce portions of a copyrighted article.

Sometimes it is better to offer a link. So in your article you could have put "for more information on basic scripting language, see this article" and then a link to the original source.
Other times a long quote works best. Typically these are full paragraphs that are word for word entries from other sources that are placed in quotations with a reference link to the site directly afterwards. However, the bulk of the article shouldn't be a series of long quotes and then your material.

Yes, I do get the email as soon as someone comments, but only when the article is new.
No email is sent by CP system after few days/weeks of article publishing - when someone comments on the article (or replies to a comment).
Kindly look into it.

There's no difference in the code whether it's a new or old article. Have you checked your spam filter and added us to your white list?

Well, the notification mails are sent from same email address, right? So, it can't go to spam folder selectively. Yes, I have checked. I do check the Junk mails too. I don't believe it is the cause.
Try commenting on any of my old articles, and I am sure I wont get mail.
Try this[^] for example, for which I did not get ANY email after "break point from debugger into debugge, how?" comment that was made on 30 Jan '10.

Yes, I have received "test" message for the comment you made.
But, why would I lie? 
To make my assertion true, check out most of good articles of anyone. The late comments received do not get replies from the author. The reason is same, the author does not get the notification mail for those delayed comments.

I have the whole link coloring gone wrong thingy again.
All the users (except the one's with a specific color) are a weird shade of purple.
And some of the other links as well (the new message link for example)

Chrome 7 is known for its aggressive caching, I'm not surprised it still holds stale CSS code notwithstanding some CTRL/F5 (which I'm afraid do apply to the page you load, not necessarily their dependencies). Another good reason to stick with FF...

I'm sticking with chrome, don't kn ow why but never really liked FF (just one of those strange things I got )
Can't test it at home tho since everything looks fine here, but if I didn't have it yesterday and no change happened to the site shouldn't caching mean I don't have it today? (I'm no expert here so... )

I don't know the details of their caching mechanisms, so anything is possible AFAICT. Don't worry, it will get better in the end.

Sure you do, but couldn't stop myself saying that! 
As Luc already said, Chrome might be caching and not reloading though you are forcing it to. In FF3.6 & IE8, they are looking fine.

Actually I'm uncolouring some links that I used to force to blue (unvisited) and am letting them revert to their standard state (blue = unvisited, purple = visited).
If it really bothers you then I'm happy to tweak, but I do feel it's useful to allow certain links to change when they have been visited.

I agree. Definitely helpful for few links (ex: Visited questions in Q&A when 'Show all' is selected. )

1. I don't mind color changing links when links is what the page is about, as in Latest Articles, My Articles, My Messages, the home page, etc.
2. I mind very much when they are navigation links, as in the left navigation pane. IMO navigation links should be discrete and immutable (except for the bolding, which is OK).
3. And I don't like it in forums, as subject line colors already have another meaning (average score) and it would become very confusing.
Note that (2) is the one case where the background isn't white!
So my suggestion is: allow for color changes when the background is white and the color has no other significance.

I'd suggest adding first, previous, next, 1, 2, ... 113,813; to the override list that are always blue because the pages they link to are always in flux, so the fact that I visited it yesterday is mostly pointless.

Well mostly I don't mind it but the posters name shouldn't react like that.
Also I noticed the 'new message' was blue until I hover above it then it colored purple, now I'm no expert but I do believe that's not the intended behavior.
Other than that I don't mind it (much )
