How can we make an entire application only in read only mode?

We had an application which is currently in read & write mode.We want to make it to complete read only mode from now.How to do it?
Application is designed in vb.net language.

You question is vague to guess what you are implying... What in you app do you want read only?

First, define what "read only" means to you.

Second, disable the parts which meet the criteria above.

Other than that there is very little we can help you with, since your question is too vague and incomplete to give an answer (next time try to explain more and be aware that we don't know what your know).
