I am running a legacy VB6 Desktop application on a Windows 7 32 bit machine. The application works fine on Windows XP, but when I move it to my Windows 7 32 bit machine, I get the following error.

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]Data source name not found and no default driver specified.

I verified the DSN is correct, but still no joy.

I see a lot of examples on the internet with the same problem, except they are on the 64bit version of windows 7, however I am on the 32 bit version and can't seem to find a solution to my problem.

Anybody out there that has a solution, I would love to hear.

Edit: Never heard of Windows 7 36 bit, think you made a typo......

You probably have a System DSN which has some issues with Windows 7. Try changing that to a User DSN and the problem may go away.
