How do I show a progressbar when copy huge content into richtextbox in WPF C#

We have a requirment to paste unlimited data to RichTextBox control in wpf but when i press ctrl+v, my application is hanging for some time until paste is completed.

It will be really helpfull if any body help me with some progressbar or backgrpundworker or multi threading.

trying to apply some background worker in DataObject.PastingHandler but this is happening after pasting event
