failed to start(retrying)

hi,
i am facing problem in my custom workflow. when i run the workflow then error occurs which is
'failed to start (retrying)'.
i debug the code but find nothing to solve the problem.
i tried to find the solution on net but did not find any useful thing.
please help me if you know how to resolve this problem.

Please check the activity hierarchy of the workflow is defined correctly.

i checked the hierarchy, it is correct. i have only two code activity and one logToHistory avtivity in workflow.
