Is it possible to place a silverlight user controls inside a .NET Page?

Or is it possible to merge silverlight pages with an existing Ajax ASP.NET VS2008 solution?

is there a sample showing how?

thanks

In my understanding this means that if you would like to get advantage of silverlight you have to rewrite your old asp.net app.
Or is there a way to maintain your old asp.net efforts and add new pages or new functionalities using silverlight? Let's say rewriting just one or few html pages.
Are they two completly different environments or I can have a web site with a piece in asp.net and another in silverlight?

Thanks Dalek.
No, you can't just embed a control - you have to embed the entire silverlight application.

Regarding the use of silverlight with ajax, I googled "silverlight and ajax", and got an amazing 4.1 million results.
