Hi,

I have a small query ..
I have done a windows service to retrieve the data from MSMQ and to push at DataBase. So, while writing and emphasising the architecture in SDD I would like to specify it as SOA.

Is it true ? Please explain.

I assume you are referring to some kind of design document by SDD.

Now, if your design makes the application SOA based, call it SOA based. If you already have an application and you are probably updating the design document with the chnges, see if it is SOA based. You can read about SOA on web to understand what it is and see if your application fits into the requirements.

OK, let's see:
"SDD" is…

Software Design Description (IEEE 1016–1998)
Software Design Document
Solution Deployment Descriptor
Software Design and Development…

Please know when to use abbreviations.

Now, your question is:
"...I would like to specify it as SOA. Is it true?"

This is true. Here is why: If one "would like" to do something, no one else can say this person would not. This is always true.

However, I don't think this is the answer you're looking for.

Please, try to formulate question the way it makes sense.

Thank you for understanding,
—SA
