Solution 1

You need to all this juggling with gridview's datasource itself. GridView's job is to show the data to the user and interact with the user......
You might want to use pivoting(or similar) concept in your SP. Pivoting example: http://blog.sqlauthority.com/2008/05/22/sql-server-pivot-table-example/[^]
