Please see my article: Active Directory Security Groups for Apache Authorization [^]. When you get to steps 1 and 2 you'll be connecting to Active Directory using LDAP.

First of all this has nothing to do with ASP.NET. This is normal C# code, with LDAP. Here is one of the best tutorials in Code Project
