I have no clue why this image is not showing up on my page please help

I'm trying to get this photo to show up on my webpage using the following code but for some rediculous reason I cannot seem to find a way to get it to. Not sure what I can be doing wrong. It's the 'albumart.jpg' image. I have the image in the correct folder and everything. Is it the way I'm resizing the photo?

have you tried to remove the leading slash? that will be referring you back to the root of the site and not relative to the current page, and not knowing your folder struture can't suggest anything else.

Yes, tried that. No luck. Really driving me crazy, something so simple can just not work.

If you type the full website address url to the image in the browser address bar does the image load?

Does not, it says: Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /promo/The_Glass_Washed_Up_Remixes_Promo/images/albumart.jpg on this server.

There you go then, you have a permission error on the image file. I have been caught out with this before, I moved a file rather than copy and it took its permissions with it, rather than inherit from parent folder, resulting in the IIS User account not being allowed to read the file.

Solution 1

Based on the comments above;

The error lies in the file permissions on the image file. Compare to other images, or copy and paste the image into the folder to inherit the default permissions for the folder.
