It's very easy to use the barcode facility in the projects.
-Barcode is nothing but the one type of a font. you can download it from the
internet as well as some of application software also provide this type of
facility.

Here's one of the many barcode articles from CodeProject - Barcodes in ASP.NET applications[^].

Google[^] can give you more details about it.

+1 for suggesting google search...But your link does not explain how to print and how to use it in a library project for issuing books..

but please dn't write program for me..but atleast give me example or link about the use of same bar code in the code... more than the generation & printing of barcode.

i am generating the barcode in to excel after installing the code39 in my system.
simply give the number,it will convert the same in to bar code.
or you can enter the data from your application,take label with the same font as code 39.

Dear Ankur,
The link has given to me contains about to print,generate and to display at a label. but no where they have mentioned about how to read the value from the barcode reader in to our web application.(overall problem is to how to fetch the data from barcode scanner).

Sanjeev, I am sorry to say this but you are not putting any effort and want to be spoon fed. :doh:
The Google link I gave lists "generating barcode asp.net" results. Just change it to "reading barcode asp.net" and check out the results/discussions/articles.
As simple as that!
Learn using Google. It is developer's best friend.
Come back here if you have specific issues.
