Validation inside Gridview

Hai good evening to everybody in my project i used one grid view that contains edit update delete insert button.I use requiredfieldValidator and RegularExpressionValidator if i insert one row but one required value is null the error message display for fraction of second the data will inserted how to solve this please help me

Solution 1

In which Grid cells you are giving access to edit convert that cells as "Template Feilds" and add Feild Validator and give validation control as the text box name in that converted template feild.
