javascript ticker and popup window

i have created the ticker control in javascript.
its working!
now i want to show a modal pop up on click of the ticker news item.
the news item is the link url.
so i want to display modal popup on url click and the madal should contain the name of the clicked link.

Solution 1

There are a lot of tools to show modal popups. jQuery has many plug-ins that can do that and the Microsoft Ajax Control Toolkit also has one.
